I missed those ! I was only looking for LS coming out of CAT . So the connection was already there . I thought it was a nice change to have a slower, more introspective Weir song coming out of the already contemplative CAT, rather than the usual uptempo selection . I can see how for the hight energy folks, 2 "buzz-killers" in a row might not sit well . But "old soul" that I am, I wish more of their show would end on a slow song . Listening to that RFK show (6/9/73) I love how they end the journey with "China Doll ". And save the rocker ( a nice Sugar Mag., in this case ) for the encore ... but I digress .
I don't recall that Playing>CAT>Playing sandwich . I wish they did more of that post drums . I hope I am surprised when I hear it ! ...or rehear it ...
Time to reread all my old books, as I can't remember how they ended ...
